Clogs in the sink
Clogs in the sink are created thanks to various substances such as: soap, oil, which do not break down easily in water, and go down the drain pipes. In houses and especially in old houses, the frequency of their appearance may be higher and it is worth learning to take care of them alone and without the help of a professional, unless the situation requires it. Before starting work: electrical appliances must be kept away from the wet work environment. In the first step, we will try to remove the clogging material with the help of a pump. We will attach it to the opening of the sink, create a vacuum and pull out the pump. This method will only work in cases where the source of the blockage is close to the drain hole. If the blockage has come loose, remove the clogging agent that we released and rinse the sink with running water.
If the blockage is stubborn, place a bucket under the sink and with the help of your hand or a pipe wrench, disconnect the deck from the sink. A rubber gasket is attached to the deck, which may fall during disassembly. Pay attention to this and save the rubber gasket. If there is a blockage between the deck and the sink, use a screwdriver and disconnect the strainer from the deck. After the disconnection, we will pass a hose. If the blockage is in the main pipe, we will try to use a hose to open it. If the actions we took failed to solve the problem, it is advisable to use a liquid to open blockages. For example, an enzymatic liquid for opening blockages from the Dutch company HG, based on natural enzymes. The liquid removes clogging food residues, treats bad odors and is also environmentally friendly.

Towards the summer the pigeon problem returns because the pigeons nest on roofs and near the gutters. In order to solve the problem, several methods can be used depending on where the pigeons are nesting:
Mesh - the pigeons like to hide in laundries, warehouses, attics and more. The solution to this problem is blocking with an ion net.
Spikes - another action is placing nesting deterrents that create vibrations - oscillate in contact with the wing owner such as plastic, stainless steel, tin spikes placed on the windowsill or where the pigeons sit. The spikes must be used at least 10 cm high and this is because the pigeon's legs are about 6 cm long and we want to prevent nesting on the spikes. A spiked anti-ion made of plastic is a simple and effective development to prevent the phenomenon, suitable for installation on air conditioners, handrails, laundry baskets, roofs and window sills. The spike can be assembled in any engineering form, is not affected by climate changes and does not require maintenance.
You can also use a glue spray that makes the pigeons uncomfortable when they land, so they don't stay in place.
Correct drilling
When we drill there are several tips that can make the operation easier, correct, and more accurate.
General: Before we start the operation, note that we do not drill in the vicinity of an electrical outlet or in the window pocket and always make sure to drill at a 90 degree angle.
Dowels - it is recommended to use a universal nylon dowel that is suitable for all types of walls, type UX or SX (not for plaster walls), which have a special head that prevents escape inward and wings that prevent free rotation, thus avoiding a situation where the dowel escapes into the wall or rotates "on empty".

Painting the house
